Tasks & Responsibilities
As their Teamlead Finance/Finance Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the financial and administrative organization. You ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial information, strengthen internal controls and guide your team towards operational excellence. You would also:
👉 Analyse internal and external developments and translate them into improvements for the administrative organization (AO) and internal control (IC).
👉 Design, optimize and monitor financial processes, procedures, and reporting structures.
👉 Structure and develop the Finance department, including defining responsibilities and areas of focus.
👉 Translate the annual departmental plan into concrete activities, prioritize work and monitor progress against budget and planning.
👉 Safeguard the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial administrations, including period closings and statutory reporting.
Ideal candidate
👉 Holds a completed higher education degree (HBO+/WO) in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field.
👉 Has proven experience in a managing finance role with responsibility for AO/IC and financial reporting.
👉 Demonstrates strong analytical skills and the ability to distinguish key issues from details.
👉 Shows problem‑solving ability and can translate complex information into clear, actionable steps.
👉 Has experience leading, coaching, and developing a finance team consisting of 4 fte. Besides that he/she has no problem being hands-on/actionable when required.
Nice to have: 👉 Experience with process optimization, change management or working in an international (B2B) manufacturing environment.
