Your tasks will include

• Financial control and driving improvement processes;
• Responsible for the yearly audit process together with the Finance Manager;
• Control and participate in the month-end closing for all their locations, including the balance sheet reconciliation;
• Set up, document, and manage an effective system of internal controls;
• Collaborate with other finance team members to structurally strengthen financial processes (such as FX policy, ERP implementation and movement of goods);
• Investigate reporting improvement opportunities and implement them accordingly (KPIs, cash monitoring, margin);
• Push for process optimization and automation as they scale (up);
• Drive operational excellence throughout this organisation and improve their monthly figures.

Requested candidate profile

• 3+ years of experience at a renowned accountancy firm;
• 3+ years relevant work experience, such as a Financial and/or Business Controller;
• Experience in an international work environment;
• Excellent financial reporting skills;
• Very comfortable with Excel;
• Experience in drawing up financial statements;
• Proactive, structured, and pragmatic -> if you don’t know something, you’ll figure it out;
• Eager to learn and develop yourself;
• Perfect business sense, communication and presentation skills;
• Proficiency in English.
