About the job

This client is seeking a talented PR & Brand Manager who has fantastic knowledge of the luxury resort market, preferably the Caribbean. You will also have a diverse interest in all commercial pillars to support and drive revenue, sales and occupancy.

You will have a minimum of > 3 years’ experience, be a self- motivated and organized individual who loves to stay on top of industry trends and new innovative ways to approach your role to meet your objectives. It is important to have a strong eye for detail and commercial awareness.

The role requires the candidate to be based in St. Eustatius in the Dutch Caribbean, enjoy being part of a dynamic Sales & Marketing team as the resort continues to make its mark in the luxury hotel market whilst enjoying a tropical island lifestyle.


Key roles & responsibilities

  • Comprehensive creative marketing support for the commercial pillars of this resort.
  • Creatively minded designing marketing materials for all outlets, including two restaurants, scuba diving operation, front office and marketing following brand guidelines.
  • Management support with social media, digital and PR agencies in US and Europe.
  • Reviewing agencies productivity and approving output paid social/ analytical campaigns, press releases.
  • Implementing marketing promotions and packages across website, social media and digital platforms.
  • Managing CRM and all client’s communications-creation and ownership of monthly newsletter to database, digital assets and sales collateral.
  • Managing the resorts master database.
  • Attend and respond to all online reviews.
  • Creating and supplying all print and digital assets.
  • Review all artwork according to brand voice for the resort.
  • Website management to ensure up to date information is live and ensure seamless customer journey in coordination with web host.
  • Ownership of all resort branding and approval of signage and verbiage.
  • Brand event coordination.
  • Creation and execution of tactical marketing campaigns.
  • Ownership of social media output, content strategy, creation, benchmarking, engagement, advertising.
  • Copywriting for advertising and press opportunities.
  • Establishing relationships with local press outlets for coverages and features.
  • Bi-monthly press coverage roundups for the entire team.

  • Reviewing and approving copy and posting schedule on social media platforms, liaising with the events manager to ensure inclusion of F&B events.
  • Coordinating and managing photoshoots and videography.
  • Support with trade shows, roadshows, with some international travel requirements.
  • Liaison to representation in US and Europe for ad hoc design and marketing requirements and requests.
  • Support resort-team with ad-hoc requirements.
  • In house relations and communications of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Diary management, coordination of meetings and minute taker.
  • Preparation of month end reports and analytics for departmental meetings.
  • Coordination and on site support with on-island client fam and press trips.
  • Client communication support with all follow ups post sales events.
  • Proactively solicit new business and partnership opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Support sales with B2B marketing management of consortia and tour operator channels.
  • Support with local and international partner relations and on-site support for VIP’s.



  • >3 years experience within Sales & Marketing.
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
  • Competent in Canva and design programs.
  • Skills and knowledge of PMS (Stay in Touch), GDS- and Meta-platforms (non essential).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Numerical and intermediate Excel skills.
  • A proactive nature, confident with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced & growing hotel resort environment.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker.
  • Positive, ambitious and goal-driven.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Confident public speaker.


This client is offering the following package:

  • Interesting salary package: USD $3,200 gross monthly + USD $1,000 gross housing allowance (depending on relevant working experience and completed education)
  • On-time (one time) relocation allowance: USD $500 gross
  • 1 Round trip ticket to start working.
  • This client provides housing for the first month and assist the new PR/Brand Manager as much as possible in getting a house. There will soon be additional Management Houses available to rent (which cost USD $900) from an affiliate company.
