Are you looking for a fulltime Sales Manager job at a 5-star resort on St. Eustatius?

This Dive & Nature Resort is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team in St. Eustatius on the Dutch Caribbean. The Sales Manager will focus primarily on driving room- and event sales, building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities in both local and regional markets. Working closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing to which you report to, this role will play a key part in growing the resort’s revenue, brand presence, and guest portfolio across leisure, corporate, and group segments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop/implement sales strategies to achieve revenue- & occupancy targets for the resort.
  • Identify/pursue business opportunities, including corporate, group and leisure segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel partners, tour operators, event planners, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct sales calls, site inspections and virtual presentations to promote the resort’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales & Marketing to plan promotions, campaigns, and seasonal offers.
  • Manage lead generation, prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and close sales agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records in the resort’s CRM system and prepare timely sales reports and forecasts.
  • Represent this five star resort at trade shows, networking events, and community functions.
  • Work with the Front Office, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and follow-up.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality, travel or tourism.
  • Strong understanding of Caribbean and regional hospitality markets.
  • Excellent Dutch and English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A results-oriented professional with a passion for guest satisfaction and relationship building.
