HR Specialist/HR Applications Officer, Rotterdam, 32-40 uur p/w

They are active in over 30 countries and specialized in bringing international standards on safety, logistics, mooring and towage to onshore and offshore operations in challenging environments.

The purpose of the HR Specialist/HR Applications Officer is to assist with day-to-day operations of the Global HR function and to provide support to the HR Managers on HR related matters. The position is based in their Rotterdam office and reports to the Group Manager HR. This is a challenging position that suits you well if:

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure a proper application of the HR framework in practice by applying policies and procedures.
  • Be the functional super-user for our recruitment system globally.
  • Support the HR Managers with day-to-day activities and participate in HR Projects.
  • Preparation of overviews and reports.
  • Manager HR data in our HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Prepare the payroll(s) by providing accurate and relevant data and control the payroll process
  • Arrange enrolment of employees on all relevant benefit scheme’s (eg. health insurance, pension plans) and keep registration up to date.
  • Arrange residence- and work permits and other employment related documents
  • Coordinate in-house and external training activities.

To be successful in this role, the following job requirements apply:

  • A bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Economics.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or comparable position.
  • Experience with HRIS and recruitment systems.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Experience in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and oral).
  • This is a fulltime position (32 to 40 hours) and we are looking for candidates living in the Netherlands, preferably in the area of Rotterdam and surroundings.
